How RenewalRadar creates connected procurement intelligence
We separate predicted renewals, official early-stage signals and open tenders so customers can act without confusing one stage for another.

Official data network and enrichment
RenewalRadar has four automated procurement connectors plus a connected Companies House enrichment service. Procurement records are normalised into one evidence-led workspace, deduplicated and linked back to the official publication. Connector availability can change, so current health and check times are published on the live data-network status page.
Coverage by nation
England, Scotland and Wales each have dedicated official publication feeds in the live network. Northern Ireland is represented for notices published to Find a Tender, but eTendersNI remains a visible coverage gap until a dependable direct connector is verified. We do not describe a portal as connected before its data is automatically collected, source-linked and quality checked.
What each workspace means
Predicted renewals are awarded contracts with an explicit future end date. Early signals are official planning, prior-information or market-engagement notices. Live tenders have a current published response deadline. The labels are never interchangeable.
How we judge whether coverage is enough
A large source count is not a quality measure because portals can republish the same central records. We measure national and regional gaps, source freshness, deduplication, evidence completeness and the proportion of records that become relevant alerts. A source is promoted to live only when it adds dependable, non-duplicative customer value.
- FreshnessAutomated source runs are monitored against a six-hour operating target.
- EvidenceEvery opportunity retains its official URL and published dates.
- UsefulnessExpired awards and unsupported predictions are suppressed from alerts.
- CoverageNation, region and sector gaps are tracked separately from raw record volume.
Qualification
We normalise buyer, supplier, value, classification and dates, remove likely duplicates, and flag missing fields rather than inventing them. Awarded notices without credible future timing do not enter customer renewal alerts.
Timing
The renewal research window is a recommended period for account planning, generally nine to twelve months before the recorded contract end. Early signals use buyer-published future-notice or engagement dates where present. Live tenders use their published deadlines.
Enrichment and expansion
Companies House is connected as a separate official supplier-identity enrichment layer. It strengthens incumbent research without being counted as a procurement feed. The next coverage milestone is a direct eTendersNI connector, followed by buyer and contract-family linking that makes changes, extensions and replacement procurements easier to trace.
Confidence
Confidence describes the completeness and directness of the evidence—not the probability that a tender will be published or won. CPV classification, value, dates, buyer details and direct source linkage contribute to the score.
Customer responsibility
Public procurement records can change. Always open the official evidence and confirm current buyer plans before committing sales or bid resources.
